The Dave Chappelle and Netflix partnership remains strong. Netflix announced today that Dave Chappelle will be executive producing four new comedy specials, each with its own comic picked by Chappelle. Chappelle will appear in each special to introduce the comedian performing.
Two of the comedians performing are Earthquake and Donnell Rawlings, who are both longtime comedians and friends of Chappelle.
The series of specials will be titled “Chappelle’s Home Team” and will debut on February 28th.
Chappelle’s most recent special, The Closer, sparked a lot of controversy due to his comments about the transgender movement.
