A teaser was released for the upcoming FX and Hulu miniseries, Under the Banner of Heaven. Andrew Garfield stars in this crime drama as a devout detective who investigates a brutal murder that might be connected to an esteemed family in Utah.
The show also features Daisy Edgar-Jones (also in upcoming Hulu film Fresh), Sam Worthington, Denise Gough, Wyatt Russell, Billy Howle, Gil Birmingham, Adelaide Clemens, Rory Culkin, Seth Numrich, and more.
Under the Banner of Heaven was created by Dustin Lance Black, who also wrote the award-winning movie Milk. The series is based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Jon Krakauer. Dustin Lance Black, Ron Howard, and Brian Grazer are executive producers on this show.
Andrew Garfield has had quite a successful year in 2021. He was in the major hit, Spider-Man: No Way Home. He starred in tick, tick…BOOM! and got nominated for an Oscar for it. And he also was in The Eyes of Tammy Faye. But he’s showing no signs of slowing down as he tackles yet another role that showcases his range as an actor.
