The sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders starts airing in the UK tomorrow, February 27th. We will see how Tommy Shelby’s and the rest of the Peaky Blinders’ story concludes.

We should expect to see the last season on Netflix in the US in the next couple of months.

If you haven’t see the show yet, I highly recommend it as it’s wonderfully created. Cillian Murphy as the main character, Thomas Shelby, is so badass and it’s unlike any role I’ve seen him do before. The series is about a gangster’s family trying to increase their status and power in 1920s Birmingham. This leads to conflicts with other gangs and groups of people. It’s very well made and I really loved the first two seasons in particular.

The show stars Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, Helen McCrory, and Sophie Rundle. There are some other notable actors that you might recognize in different parts of the show. The show was created by Steven Knight.

Spoilers ahead if you are not caught up. Season 5 ended with Thomas Shelby’s assassination plan thwarted and several of his allies executed. For perhaps the first time really, we see Tommy lose at the end of a season. It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds in the final chapter.
