So all of the Marvel shows on Netflix left yesterday, and while it was assumed that they would be coming to Disney+, there was no confirmation until today. Disney announced that on March 16th, these Marvel shows will be available for streaming on Disney+.
People were concerned due to the fact that these Marvel shows were darker, more violent, and meant for more mature audiences. Disney+ has remained a streaming service without any TV-MA content for the most part. But it looks like they are finally adding a mature content section along with parental controls. This is good news because there is a lot of great content that can be put into this section. The upcoming Marvel show, Moon Knight, might even fit this category as it has been described as the darkest Marvel show yet.
It will be interesting to see the future of shows like Daredevil, that was cancelled after the third season at Netflix. We know Charlie Cox will continue to be Daredevil going forward in the MCU, but it is possible now that the show continues with a season 4. Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Add these shows to your lists for reminders in case new seasons do come out in the future.
