Netflix used to have a five-star rating system several years ago that was widely praised, but they got rid of it as they started to produce more and more of their own content.
The new system was tested in the second half of 2021 and Netflix saw that more users were using the new thumbs up feature more. The feature will start being rolled out today and should be available for all users by the end of the week.
