How I Met Your Father has been renewed for Season 2 by Hulu. The spin-off of the popular How I Met Your Mother got a 20 episode order from Hulu for this second season. The first season was only 10 episodes in comparison. The series stars Hilary Duff as Sophie.
The first season has not received the best reviews/ratings, but it seems to be an investment on Hulu’s part to at least try to make the show work. As we know, ratings don’t always matter as long as people are watching.
The popular HIMYM show starred Josh Radnor, Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan, and Cobie Smulders and ran for 9 successful seasons. There were other attempts at spin-offs after this show ended, but ultimately nothing came from them.
