Donald Glover announced that season 4 of Atlanta will be the last one. Glover was the writer, director, and star for the highly rated FX series. He said that he was thinking of ending the show after season 2 itself because he had told the story he wanted to tell. Glover said, “I’ve done television now for almost two decades, so I’m just, like, I like things ending.”
Season 3 will air on March 24th and season 4 will premiere later in the fall. Both seasons were shot back to back.
Season 3 will explore Earn (Donald Glover), Darius (LaKeith Stanfield), Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry), and Van (Zazie Beetz) finally getting their music success and touring Europe.
I enjoyed the first two seasons so I’ll be looking forward to watching how the show concludes over the next two.
