The Discovery and WarnerMedia merger has been underway and is expected to complete next month. With this merger, the Discovery CFO announced that they will be combining HBO Max and Discovery+ into one global streaming service.
While this means the single service will have more content, it’s unclear at this time what this will mean for the price of the streaming service as well as existing subscribers of each service.
The $43 billion merger is expected to close in April.
