The Batman sequel has finally been officially announced. Warner Bros. held a panel today at CinemaCon where Toby Emmerich announced that Matt Reeves will be returning for the sequel. Matt Reeves, Robert Pattinson, and the rest of the team will be back in what will be a highly anticipated sequel!
This is great news for fans of The Batman. The film has grossed $760M worldwide and has grossed the second most at the box office in the pandemic (the first being Spider-Man: No Way Home).
Matt Reeves revealed that he has already started working on the script for the second film. My guess is that the film will come by 2024 at the earliest, but it’s more likely to come in 2025.
